introductory tasting case, purchase only your favourite variety, or design a vertical tasting of shiraz.

5. Freight is free within Australia. Our use of established delivery services maximises their efficiency and reduces pollution.
6. Wines made in 2009 are only available in limited quantities due to bushfires contaminating the entire grape crop on our Yea vineyard.

Rees Miller Estate Thousand Hills Reserve Shiraz 2006

A small batch of exceptional fruit in 2006 was made into this Reserve wine. It is a sumptuously integrated, yet strikingly complex wine displaying aromas of blackberry, spice and earthy complexity. The palate is wonderfully smooth with an earthy backbone balanced with blackberry, licorice, leather, mocha and spice. The fine tannins contribute to a seamless long finish.

A beautifully integrated organic shiraz with aromas of blackberry, spices and an attractive earthy complexity. The palate is wonderfully smooth with an intriguing blend of ripe dark fruits, blackberry, licorice, leather, mocha and spice from the toasty French oak, and an earthiness which reflects the unique character of the vineyard and the natural approach to winemaking.

Rees Miller Estate Pyrenees Organic Shiraz 2009

A rich, deeply coloured shiraz with raspberry, blackberry, and vanilla, aromas with a hint of graphite. The palate is full bodied, displaying rich flavours of dark black fruits, abundant fine, ripe tannins and a hint of spice. An elegant wine, seamlessly integrated with a beautifully balanced structure that will age gracefully.
The grapes used to make this wine came from a biodynamic vineyard in the Pyrenees region of Victoria. The vines are low yielding, resulting in concentrated flavours and great character.

Rees Miller Estate Walter's Run Shiraz Cabernet 2006

Walter Whippett is the Rees Miller winedog. He greets visitors to the cellar door with a happy smile and an enthusiastic wag of the tail, and could easily have his own fan club if he was computer literate. We make a wine for Walter every so often, and this one is a lovely blend of shiraz and cabernet.
The organic grapes are from our own vineyard. The wine is full flavoured, matured in French oak, with berry fruits and good length. Delicious! |

Rees Miller Estate Heathcote Shiraz 2009

A deep, enticing aroma of blackberry, pepper and vanilla leaps from the glass of this dark, intensly inky wine. The palate is complex with delicious plum and berry flavours, black pepper, dried herbs, and minerals. French oak tannins finely balance the long savoury, luscious finish. A beautiful example of the cooler part of the Heathcote wine region.
Smoke from the disastrous bushfires contaminated the grapes in our Yea vineyard in 2009. Ultimately we had to feed all our grapes to the cockatoos. This wine has been made from grapes grown by our friends Sandra and Craig Aitken at Barfold Estate in the Heathcote region. We would like to thank Sandra and Craig for their generous offer of fruit at a very difficult time for us as wine producers.

Rees Miller Estate Mudgee Organic Cabernet 2009
|
This pure cabernet sauvignon is a fine example of the deep, plum and mulberry flavours typical of the Mudgee wine region. An elegant wine, it displays earthy plum and spice on the palate, with graphite, vanilla and a beautiful, fruity finish. The tannins from the gentle use of French oak are fine, long, and in perfect balance with the concentrated fruit. This is an easy drinking style of cabernet with a refreshing character and very fine tannins.
